fly fishing


Perhaps the most remarkable feature of fly fishing (on the fly, to fly) is a variety of natural landscapes, which are often fishermen - a secluded creek in the mountains, quiet, winding river deep in the forest, or a tranquil blue lake somewhere wide open sky in rural areas. For the novice angler to study engineering this type of fishing can be some difficulties. Successful fishing involves a lot of things, such as the right fishing equipment, using the right flies, lures, the ability to make accurate casts, as well as many other smaller factors that often determine fishing will be successful or not.
Fishing on the fly is a specific ancient method of fishing, known as a way of catching trout and salmon, but these days it is widely used for fishing of commercial species such as pike, perch, carp, and marine species of fish - salmon, long-nosed, tarpon and bony fish.
In practice, dry-fly fishing are made by tying strings to fishhook fur, feathers and other materials. The size and color of the material should mimic naturally fall into the water or eat the fish just excite the fish, causing her to rush to the front sight.
Rods for fly fishing in comparison to other types of fishing rods are longer, flexible and lightweight, while a fishing line (cord) - more difficult to provide sufficient momentum for long casting tiny flies. Fishing cords may be tapering or straight, with a different density (floating or sinking in water), and they must comply with the rod by weight.

There are two main ways of fly fishing - dry and wet.
In the dry method, flies covered substance giving it buoyancy. This fly imitates an insect, but it can also be a lot of terrestrial or aquatic creatures, even the wounded fish. This method is mainly used for fishing in shallow water - in the streams and rivers, but can also be used for fishing in lakes and ponds.
In the wet method, fishing fly masks for different types of small underwater creatures - insect larvae, caddis flies, etc. As the name implies, wet flies are working below the surface.
Freshwater fly fishing is practiced throughout the United States, but most of all the fans of this type of fishing is observed in the northern U.S. and Canada, especially in the Rocky Mountains of Utah, in the states of Idaho, Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, California, Alaska, in the provinces of British Columbia and Alberta. West Yellowstone is the center of the fishing fly fishing in North America, although the wild waters of Alaska certainly surpass any of the 48 Southern states over the size and number of fish caught.
